Berkane, November 2021 – Groupe Kantari was honored to welcome U.S. Chargé d’Affaires David Greene to one of its citrus packaging facilities in Berkane as part of the celebration marking the 15th anniversary of the Morocco–U.S. Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

This visit underscored the continued success of the FTA, which has significantly boosted trade and strengthened agricultural exports between the two countries since its implementation in 2006. During the visit, the facility was preparing its first shipment of the season – featuring premium Moroccan clementines and oranges – destined for the U.S. market.

The event highlighted the key role played by Moroccan producers and exporters, including Groupe Kantari, in supporting international trade and promoting high-quality Moroccan citrus abroad.
